Using social to drive traffic to an online and retail destination
The challenge
Small budgets don’t scare us. We love them. They push us to higher levels of creativity.
So when Mama Mio, a premium, but niche, skin care product tasked us with creating buzz and excitement about ‘Get Waisted’, a body shaping serum, on a small budget we got buzzy and excited.
The insight
Real beauty is all about confidence. Women feel more confident when their inner beauty shines through.
The idea
What more confident statement than being in a band performing in front of millions of people? So, for maximum cut through we created a ‘house band’ called Belle and the Buttons, complete with back-story, blog, viral film and song. We launched them onto music blogs and social networking sites. They even made a guest appearance at a local music festival.
The result
They were a hit. Within two weeks the campaign created a 200% spike in traffic to the site and conversion was up by 68%.
